Bounding Thankfulness

Thanksgiving morning, it was nice to break from a busy schedule and lots of changes.  As I took a moment to thankfully savor a mug of strong coffee and some pumpkin bread, the sounds of elaborate meal preparation along with three generations and a grand-puppy waking under one roof and bounding down the stairs made me smile.  Actually, only the puppy truly bounded!

Anyway, whatever is going on with you…  I hope and pray, as I do for myself, that THANKFUL savoring, bounding & smiling will be a growing reality in your life!

We can savor- relishing not only the pleasing tastes and smells of the food we eat and beverages we drink, but also, by delighting in everyday moments with uniquely amazing people in circumstances full of challenge and opportunity!

We can bound- moving toward our unknown futures with energy, resilience, and anticipation, knowing our lives are significant to God and others.

We can smile- recognizing the value of every breath and heartbeat, knowing that God passionately and sacrificially loves us humans, and that Jesus is proof of that!

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
