Catching my breath after a big week…

> Brewers game with a friend- loved team energy & activity!
> Eclipse totality road trip & experience of a lifetime- enough said!
> Taxes knocked out & filed- kept “the man” at bay another year!
> Luke Combs concert with Laura- our “Christmas in April” gift!
> First 2024 bike ride together & patio stuff moved from garage!

You may have detected some enthusiasm from the list above. Yes, because 6 months ago I was still struggling through shoulder surgery recovery and could not have imagined the joy and fun of these last few weeks. Chronic pain and struggle can do that.

To me, these activities are positive reminders of spring renewal, summer flourishing, and forward movement beyond physical chill of winter and spiritual chill that testing and prolonged difficulty can bring about. Especially those you don’t see coming.

Just two weeks from Crucifixion Friday and Resurrection Sunday, whatever chill or challenge faces us, let’s keep focused on Jesus and the resurrection life and forward movement he offers us!
